It will slough off dead cells and add nutrients like Vitamin C, citric acid, iron and other essentials for hair health. Before washing your hair, apply lemon juice generously on your hair and scalp and let sit till it dries. Rinse carefully and shampoo your hair as you normally would.
Another simple yet effective way to exfoliate your scalp is by adding a tablespoon of sugar to your shampoo while washing your hair. The sugar dissolves easily into the shampoo without leaving any residue in your hair. It also removes dead cells and deeply moisturizes your scalp for softer, smoother hair.
