Diwali is starting!!!! And we can’t keep calm! Have you bought everything you need yet? Because we’re on a spree and have listed out all the things we need to shop for before the Diwali days begin.
Two days before Diwali is Dhanteras. It’s the day when Gold and silver jewelry is bought. It’s also the day when the famous card games begin!
So, what to wear on this day? A gorgeous bright Kurta for the day so you can sit for the Pooja as well as freely shop around town! Pair the kurta with palazzos or crop trousers and some chunky earrings and you’re good to go!
The day before Diwali is called Choti Diwali. This is the day when you and your household is decorated for Diwali. The entire day is spent decking up your homes with rangolis and flowers. In the evenings, Diyas (lamps) are lit to welcome Diwali and to spend time with family and friends!
What to wear? We’ve got you covered! After your early morning shower, wear a new lightweight cotton kurta with flowy pants or a long skirt. This will allow you to move around prepping your home all day! Wear a new perfume to soak in the feeling of being extra-spruced for Diwali!
